The Taurus tracker series contains a variety of sizes and calibers, so that they can be used universally for hunting or outdoor activities, where the encounter of bears or other predators is likely and thus possibly a means of defense is necessary.

The models are pleasant to shoot and control, are extremely precise and almost indestructible in their construction.
In addition to the rubberized handle, the features of the RT 627 STS model include an SA/DA trigger, a solid grain with adjustable kimme.
The transfer bar mechanism also prevents the impact piece from touching the impact pin unless the trigger is pulled completely backwards.
